About
`Russia.md` is an open-source country knowledge-base fork of `taiwan-md`, rebuilt as a starter site about Russia. The intent is to preserve a useful category-driven structure while replacing mismatched assumptions, navigation, and starter content with Russia-first material.
This version is a foundation, not a finished encyclopedia. It keeps the site architecture and the category-driven reading model, then seeds each section with one Russia-focused article so contributors can expand it without pretending the project was built from scratch.
The repo should aim for concise, cited, non-touristic writing. Strong versions of this project explain why a topic matters, where it sits in the broader Russian context, and what an informed reader should understand next.
Good future work should feel like a disciplined continuation of the original `taiwan-md` idea: country knowledge stored in markdown, easy to fork, easy to audit, and legible both to humans and LLMs.
