How to improve the fork

This repo is easiest to extend if contributions stay narrow and well-sourced. Add one article, one resource list, one chart, or one agent integration at a time. Keep the output readable for humans and legible for downstream LLMs.

Treat this as a working fork of `taiwan-md`: preserve the strong upstream structure, but make changes explicit whenever Russia needs different framing, sources, or navigation.

Writing

Add category essays, biographies, place explainers, and institution pages.

Prefer clear structure, primary sources, and grounded claims over generic summaries.

Data

Replace inherited placeholders with Russia-specific datasets from official or well-documented sources.

Examples: Rosstat, CBR, FNS, federal ministries, regional portals, and reputable international datasets.

Agent Skills

Extend SKILLS.md into concrete adapters or MCP-style tools.

Document auth, read actions, write actions, and approval requirements explicitly.

Contribution rules

  • Do not scrape private or undocumented state endpoints.
  • Mark partner-gated APIs as partner-gated.
  • Preserve raw source links in articles and data notes.
  • Use reversible, reviewable commits.
